Spurtles are of Scottish origin, originally used to stir porridge and the like. This version is completely hand-carved using traditional methods and is perfect for a variety of kitchen tasks, from making scrambled eggs, to sautéing vegetables, to stir fries. It’s shape enables you to get right into the corner of the pan and is at the same time wide enough to scrape pans with ease.
